The Detroit Lions made it official on Wednesday. Dan Campbell is their next head coach. Combined with last week’s hiring of general manager Brad Holmes, the Lions have their next duo of the future that will hopefully lead this team to finally getting some results on the field.

With Campbell, we know the Lions are getting fierce leader and an effective motivator. We know this was the kind of thing Detroit was looking for, after team president Rod Wood and owner Sheila Ford Hamp made it very clear they were trying to build a new culture within Allen Park.

But what else is Campbell bringing to the table? Who is he looking for in coordinators? What kind of philosophies does he adhere to when it comes to football strategy? What does he think of Detroit’s current roster and Matthew Stafford? And how quickly does he expect to turn this thing around?

We may get some answers to these questions on Thursday, January 21 at 11 a.m. ET as Campbell is introduced to the local media.

The Detroit Lions will be streaming Campbell’s introductory press conference live on YouTube, and we’ve embedded that feed below so that you don’t have to leave Pride of Detroit to watch.

So head over here at 11 a.m. ET to see what the Lions saw in Dan Campbell and what his plans are for the future of the franchise. Then scroll down and give your first impressions in the comment section.
