Remember the Divisional Round? It feels like it happened years ago. After a whirlwind week for Lions fans of getting a new general manager, a new head coach, new coordinators, and learning that your team is moving on from their beloved quarterback, we still have some playoff football ahead of us.
First up is an enticing battle between two all-time great quarterbacks. Aaron Rodgers and company had little problem dispatching the Rams last week as the Packers rolled to a 32-18 victory. The Packers offense looks nearly unstoppable thanks to the connection of Rodgers and Davante Adams. Another imposing defense is looming for the Packers: the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Tom Brady has flourished in his new home, no small part to the great roster around him. With some truly great wide receivers and one of the top defenses in the league, Tampa Bay is another tough foe to stop.

The AFC Championship game is a reversal of the NFC. Instead of two Hall of Fame quarterbacks duking it out for another trip to the Super Bowl, we get two of the brightest young stars in the league. Patrick Mahomes already has a Super Bowl title under his belt, but back-to-back wins is certainly on his mind. The Kansas City Chiefs have arguably the weakest defense of the remaining playoff teams, but their offense is quite the threat, even after a concussion scare for Mahomes. The Bills, meanwhile, enter tonight’s game with plenty of hope. Buffalo has long been a suffering franchise, with a lack of playoff success to rival the Lions. Thanks in part to Josh Allen, the fortunes in Buffalo have changed. The young quarterback has had a breakout third season. A trip to the Super Bowl would be another great step for Allen and the team.
