Whether you’re rooting for the Detroit Lions to lose for a chance at a top-five pick or you’re always in favor of watching your favorite team, let’s take today to appreciate that we have one more week of football to watch. In just a few hours, we won’t have Lions football to watch for another eight months.
The Lions will close out their 2020 season with a game against the Minnesota Vikings, another team that has little to play for on Sunday. Without Dalvin Cook, the Vikings are missing the centerpiece of their offense. However, the quick development of Justin Jefferson, along with the steady hands of Adam Thielen, Minnesota’s offense shouldn’t have too much of an issue on Sunday.
That being said, the Lions offense has a pretty good chance to be successful, too. Minnesota’s defense isn’t what it used to be, and with Matthew Stafford expected to play, Detroit could very well remain competitive or even win in their season finale.
So come join us, and chat in the comment section below during the first half of Sunday’s game.
