PODcast: Season recap + could the Detroit Lions snatch John Schneider from Seattle?

Recapping a busy Sunday full of wild news.

NFL Combine - Day 2

Sunday was an interesting day for Detroit Lions fans. Before many even woke up, Ian Rapoport hit the football world with a fairly shocking report. The Lions were reportedly going to try and make a run at Seahawks current general manager John Schneider. A few minutes later, it was just casually dropped that Detroit had interviewed former Bengals head coach Marvin Lewis.

Then the Lions game happened. Nothing particularly surprising happened in those three hours, but it was a pretty entertaining game that included a classic Matthew Stafford performance, a memorable Marvin Jones Jr. send-off (probably), and, of course, ref controversies.

On this week’s PODcast, we cover it all. What will we remember about this game? Who made one final impression that may not be back in 2021? Is there any way the Lions could pull off a move like stealing Schneider from the Seahawks?

Then, as we close out the podcast, we look forward to the 2021 offseason and discuss the move pivotal decisions the next general manager will have to make. That, of course, is highlighted by the murky future of one Matthew Stafford.
