The crazy 2020 NFL season is moving into the playoffs, which of course will look a little different than in years past. The addition of a seventh playoff team in each conference means that Wild Card Weekend will be full of six games, three on both Saturday and Sunday.
On the NFC side, No. 2 New Orleans hosts No. 7 Chicago, No. 3 Seattle hosts No. 6 Los Angeles, and No. 4 Washington hosts No. 5 Tampa Bay (lol). For the AFC it will be No. 2 Buffalo against No. 7 Indianapolis, No. 3 Pittsburgh versus No. 6 Cleveland, and No. 4 Tennessee facing No. 5 Baltimore.
Today’s Question of the Day is:
Which game are you most looking forward to this weekend?
My answer:
Intra-division matchups are always a lot of fun, and Steelers-Browns and Seahawks-Rams both have a lot of potential for drama. Meanwhile, Lions fans will probably enjoy watching the Saints take down the Bears on Sunday, and as a Michigan fan I am excited to see Tom Brady have another good playoff run.
However, all eyes should be focused on Titans-Ravens this weekend. Last year’s six-over-one upset in the Divisional Round was one of the most shocking results of the season, but Tennessee proved this year that it was no fluke. Both teams could make a deep run this postseason, making their first round matchup very intriguing.
