Sunday Night Football open thread: Bills at Chiefs

Two of the AFC’s best are in the spotlight.

We get a rematch of last season’s AFC Championship on Sunday Night Football, and it should be exciting.

The Buffalo Bills are on fire right now. After opening up the season with a loss to the Steelers, they have demolished their last three opponents, including two shutouts. Their victories have come against the Dolphins, Football Team, and Texans, so it needs to be taken with a grain of salt, but their offense and defense are on a roll. They’ll be looking for revenge against the Chiefs.

Kansas City defeated the Bills to advance to the Super Bowl last season, but it has been a mixed 2021 so far. The Chiefs lost to the Ravens and Chargers in Week 2 and Week 3, and they sit at 2-2 at the bottom of the suddenly strong AFC West. It’s hard to count out Patrick Mahomes though, and Kansas City would like to regain ground in their division.
