We’re officially over the quarter mark of the season, and we’ve reached the point of the season where bye weeks are already here. It’s hard to believe, but hopefully you weren’t looking forward to a week of Falcons, Saints, Jets or 49ers football, as they are all off this week.
That’s left the NFL with a bit of an uneven schedule. There doesn’t seem to be many high profile games this week. Even games that would draw high interest this offseason—like Cowboys vs. Patriots and Bills vs. Titans—don’t seem to be quite as interesting as they looked on the surface.
That being said, there are a few matchups that may not have looked like marquee games at the beginning of the season, but could draw some fireworks this week. The undefeated Cardinals will travel to Cleveland for a huge litmus test (for both teams) against the Browns. The high-flying Chargers have a big games against one of the most exciting (and lucky?) teams in the Baltimore Ravens.
And then there’s everything else. Poor London gets treated to more subpar football in Dolphins vs. Jaguars, and the rest of the slate isn’t all that exciting either.
But here are our picks for Week 5, with the following games being unanimous from our staff:
- Bucs over Eagles
- Packers over Bears
- Colts over Texans
- Chiefs over WFT
- Rams over Giants
- Cowboys over Patriots
- Broncos over Raiders
- Bills over Titans
The rest of our picks are below. Predictions for Lions vs. Bengals will be revealed on Sunday.
