Last Sunday, Jared Goff put together his worst performance as a Detroit Lion against the Vikings leading to a fifth straight loss. He missed countless throws, and the interception in Vikings territory early in the second half was a huge momentum killer that could have heavily swung things in the Lions’ favor.
It’s no secret that Goff has underperformed, but he has still shown glimpses where he can be a capable quarterback. He just needs to be more consistent. Is today the day that Goff can finally put it all together and lead the Lions to their first victory? If not now, then when?
Today’s Question of the Day is...
Will Jared Goff put together a good performance against the Bengals?
My answer: Yes.
I’m going to predict the two-for-one here and say that the Lions win with Jared Goff having arguably his best performance of the season. It’s not a pretty situation for him to be in with the offensive line deteriorating slowly in front of him, but this team has played some close games at home. I believe they’ll play the Bengals close as well, and it’s all up to Goff to take things into his own hands and score some points for this offense.
Your turn.
