Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams first half open thread

Let’s just get it over with.

The Detroit Lions find themselves at 0-6, but still have one of the most compelling games of the season in Week 7. While the Los Angeles Rams are heavy favorites over our Lions, the intrigue lies with the quarterbacks. Jared Goff has a chance at his “revenge” game, hoping to prove his worth to the head coach that swifty sent him to Detroit. Matthew Stafford has none of those animosities towards Detroit, but it has to be interesting for him to face the only NFL team he’d ever played for before this year.

For us Lions fans, we’re stuck in the middle. We don’t feel the same pain that Goff currently does—and based on his recent play, it’s easy to understand why Sean McVay did what he did. And watching Stafford out there in another uniform will undoubtedly discombobulating. We have never seen a true Lions franchise quarterback play in another uniform in at least six decades.

So let’s just see what the hell happens and enjoy the Lions’ Week 7 bout with the Rams.
