Lions suffer from lack of identity, consistency week to week

Breaking down critical faults after a blowout

Consistency often becomes the key attribute to determining a good team’s identity. Bad teams in the NFL, however, are an enigma week-to-week, their only consistency being their inconsistency. The Detroit Lions match up well with this quality, seeing as that, for as many games where they’ve fought well, there’s been enough games now where they’ve thoroughly crashed and burned too.

On the latest episode of the Pride Of Detroit PODcast, we’re taking a look back as to how the Lions got blown out by the Philadelphia Eagles, where it leaves them heading into the bye week and the performances (and lack thereof) of key contributors in this game. We discuss what the Lions need to do to develop said identity, and all those other wonderful questions of a not-so-distant future.

This is our first episode where the Movember charity drive. Already in the first live stream on Twitch, we raised over $1000 for the Prostate Cancer Foundation. The community around PODcast has been exceedingly generous and we’re continuing to give. This also means at various times in the future, someone might decide to mute a host for 1 minute, and that will be reflected on the recorded podcast too. It’ll probably be me. Everyone wants me to shut up. I can respect that.
