This was one of, if not the, least entertaining Super Bowls in recent memory. It got out of hand quickly, and Patrick Mahomes’ endless scrambles get really old really quickly if he’s not actually completing passes.
What’s the most boring Super Bowl you’ve ever watched?
My answer: Perhaps it’s the recency bias, but I have to go with the most recent one: Super Bowl 55.
I can’t think of any other besides Broncos-Panthers in Super Bowl 50 that had less flare to it. In all fairness, however, I was in the minority that found the 13-3 Patriots’ victory over the Rams to be a pretty entertaining game.
Heck, even when the Seahawks demolished the Broncos in 2014, it was fun to see Seattle keep piling on the points. Super Bowl 55 just wasn’t very memorable, and for me it was the least entertaining one I’ve seen. That being said, my memory of Super Bowls only goes back to Super Bowl 40 at Ford Field, and a lot of you have probably seen way more than me.
Which one was your least favorite? Let’s hear it.
