In our first interactive podcast via the Locker Room app, we tackle the 2021 NFL Draft hard.

On Saturday, we debuted a new weekly show intended to let Detroit Lions fans congregate and have a conversation about all things football. At 10:30 a.m. ET, we created a conference room in the new iOS app Locker Room, which allows us to hold a video chat with fans.

For just under an hour, myself, Ryan Mathews, and Erik Schlitt answered all the questions we could possibly answer from our live audience, who got to be a part of the show by taking the mic and providing both questions and answers.

Topics ranged from free agency to “Hard Knocks,” but the majority of the conversation surrounded the 2021 NFL Draft. We spent a lot of time talking about all the options for the Lions with the seventh overall pick, our thoughts on the polarizing Micah Parsons, and what Detroit may do beyond the first round of the draft.

We’ll be having these types of conversations every Saturday for the foreseeable future, so if you want to join in the future, be sure to download the Locker Room app and follow @PrideOfDetroit. Every show will go live around 10:30 a.m. ET.

If you can’t make the live shows, you can always submit questions via Twitter using the hashtag #AskPOD or here on Pride of Detroit in the comment section when we put out a call for questions. Then make sure you’re subscribed to the PODcast on your favorite platform to see if we answer your question: Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher, or iHeartRadio.
