It’s been a full week since the Detroit Lions orchestrated the biggest trade in franchise history. Plenty of people have already given their thoughts on the trade here in Detroit, but we wanted to seek out the opinions on the other side of the trade.

So late last week, we chatted with Jourdan Rodrigue of The Athletic Los Angeles to hear her perspective on the trade, what it means for the Los Angeles Rams, how Matthew Stafford will fit in Sean McVay’s offense, and, more importantly, what the Lions are getting in Jared Goff.

Rodrigue provides incredible insight into how the trade went down, what went wrong with Goff in Los Angeles, and her expectations for both quarterbacks in 2021.
