The Detroit Lions did not place the franchise tag on Kenny Golladay, and while they still have a few days to negotiate a long-term deal with the Pro Bowl wide receivers, all indications seem to suggest Detroit has chosen to move on.
So what are the Lions going to do next at wide receiver. Aside from the signing of Tyrell Williams—a one-year deal—and rookie Quintez Cephus, general manager Brad Holmes is starting from scratch. And while he may say the position can be quickly flipped, like he helped do with the Los Angeles Rams back in 2017, it’s not exactly easy.
