We answer all of your questions, including how Friday’s trades impact the Lions.

On Friday, the Miami Dolphins blew up the top of the draft by trading down with the San Francisco 49ers from the third overall pick to 12. Then they jumped back up from 12 to six with the Philadelphia Eagles. While we’ve already discussed the implications for the Detroit Lions, one thing we haven’t talked about much is the second half of that trade. More specifically, why did the Dolphins specifically choose to jump to the pick right in front of the Lions?

That was the main topic on this week’s Locker Room session, in which we answered your questions live on the Locker Room app. Aside from the main topic, we talked about potential trade down scenarios for the Lions, second-round options for Detroit, which wide receiver prospects fit the Lions the best, and our overall thoughts on how the current regime has done in its first two months on the job.

You can listen to our Locker Room sessions 24 hours after they’re recorded, or if you want to be a part of the live show, make sure you download the Locker Room app (currently available on Apple products only—for now), follow our account (@PrideOfDetroit), then fire up the app at 10:30 a.m. ET on Saturday to listen live and ask us questions!

As always, you can catch all of our podcasts on every major podcast platform: Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher or iHeartRadio.
