Screw the workweek, it’s officially Draft Weekend. The next three days are going to be a wild series of events for all 32 teams, and that seems especially true for the Detroit Lions. With a new coaching staff, a new general manager, and a new quarterback, the possibilities seem endless for Detroit, and that makes the next three days must-see TV for any Lions fan.
Of course, the NFL Draft has become such a ridiculous spectacle in the past couple of decades that there will be no shortage of coverage across the world. There will be three different broadcasts of the draft on television, not to mention the countless other outlets that will be hosting their own draft show.
That includes us at Pride of Detroit, who will be live streaming the first two days of the draft on our Twitch and YouTube pages. We’ll be giving live analysis and reactions to every pick in the draft, especially those made by our Detroit Lions.
Here’s a breakdown of the broadcast teams, if you’re trying to decide between channels:
ABC: Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Todd McShay, Maria Taylor, Jesse Palmer, David Pollack
ESPN: Mike Greenberg, Mel Kiper Jr., Louis Riddick, Booger McFarland, Chris Mortensen, Adam Schefter, Suzy Kolber
