Recapping the best, worst moves of Detroit Lions free agency

We finish up free agency talk to lead us into the NFL Draft.

Last week, the Detroit Lions indicated that free agency was mostly done until the draft. Though they’ll likely add pieces here and there—as evidenced by the recent signings of Corn Elder and Quinton Dunbar—most of the significant pieces have been added before we get into the draft.

So on this week’s PODcast, myself and Ryan Mathews recapped the Lions’ moves, picked out our favorite and least favorite moves, and took a look at where the roster stands. The Lions had a clear goal in free agency. Did they accomplish enough?

We also tackle the breaking news that the Carolina Panthers have traded for former Jets quarterback Sam Darnold. We’ve already gone over why this is likely bad news for the Lions, but is there a positive spin to it, as well?

All of that and a lot, lot more on this week’s episode of the PODcast. Remember, you can catch full replays of the podcast on our YouTube and Twitch pages.

If you’re more of an audiophile, catch the PODcast on your favorite platform: Apple Podcasts, Google Podcasts, Spotify, Stitcher or iHeartRadio.
