St. Brown is definitely not the fastest wide receiver, but more than makes up for it with his elite explosion. Most importantly, he was productive in college, and that’s got folks excited.

St. Brown also comes from a very strong (physically, academically, and metaphorically) football family. His older brother Equanimeous plays for the Green Bay Packers, and his dad is former Mr. Universe.

The cherry on top is the continuation of amazing names for the Lions’ draft picks through two and a half days thus far. Penei Sewell, Levi Onwuzurike, Alim McNeill, Ifeatu Melifonwu, and Amon-Ra St. Brown (and, at this rate, whoever else the Lions may pick) are going to give the Lions a real handful in the upcoming seasons.
