Sunday open thread: What Lions game are you looking forward to the most?

Is there a game that stands out above the rest?

NFL schedule release week is always an exciting time during an offseason that has a lot of dry periods. It means that minicamps are near and also gives us a sense of what our plans are going to look like in the fall as degenerate fans. Whether there’s a big matchup that excites you, or a road trip you’d like to plan, or maybe a bye week vacation, there’s a little something for every fan when the schedule is released.

For me, I like to look at all of the matchups once the schedule is leaked. There are always a few games that stand out above the rest that I look forward to the most. This year there are plenty of good ones to choose from like the Matthew Stafford Revenge Game in Los Angeles, your annual Chicago Bears Thanksgiving bout, ending the year at home against Green Bay, and much more.

Today’s Question of the Day is...

What Lions game are you looking forward to the most this year?

My answer: I’m really excited to see the Lions play against Matthew Stafford just for the storylines alone. That, to me, stands out above the rest and is a relatively easy pick for me, but I do also plan on going to a road game this year if circumstances will let me, and it probably won’t be that game.

I have my eye on the Denver Broncos game in Denver, Week 14. I haven’t been to many road games and with the pandemic affecting our lives over the past couple of years, it’s made me crave the feeling of going to a road game again.

Your turn.
