What a long, eventful offseason it has been for the Detroit Lions. Since Thanksgiving, this team has slowly been reforming from the primordial ooze Matt Patricia left things as. We’ve gone through a general manager search, a coaching search, a couple weeks of quarterback trade rumors, all on top of an irregular free agency period and yet another draft with a top-10 pick.
Now that things have finally calmed down a bit, it’s time to reflect a bit. We’ve had some time to digest the moves and decisions made over the past six or seven months, and see the overall vision of team owner Sheila Ford Hamp along with general manager Brad Holmes and head coach Dan Campbell.
So on this week’s PODcast, we recapped the offseason the only way we know how: Offseason Superlatives!
Jeremy and Ryan go through Detroit’s offseason and pick out the most notable moments, answering questions like:
- What was their best long-term decision?
- What was their best short-term decision?
- What’s a move you wish they would’ve made?
- What move has you still scratching your head?
- When were you drinking the most Kool Aid this offseason?
- When were you hovering over the panic button?
All of that, plus a quick recap on the first week of Lions OTAs on this week’s PODcast.
