One of the most fascinating positions to play on offense, the tight end position has seen plenty of prominence in recent years for catching passes and making plays, but when it comes to ranking the best tight ends in the NFL, there’s many different other factors at play.

In the latest PODcast episode, we venture to the tight ends for our latest LISTCAST, the definitive predictive rankings of skill position players for the upcoming season. The Pride of Detroit writing staff has all submitted their polls, and the final rankings are now in.

T.J. Hockenson is primed for a big year, but the question is, how big, and how does that match up against the other premier tight ends in the league?

On this episode, we also discuss the latest in national media buzz, a tale of two quarterbacks: how Matthew Stafford has gained notoriety now that he has landed in Los Angeles, while new Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff is rated very poorly, perhaps a little too much. There may be a media over-correction to both at work, but we discuss the truth of the matter and our own opinions on such.
