On Saturday morning, I jumped on the Spotify Greenroom app with Ryan Mathews and Erik Schlitt to share our thoughts on the Detroit Lions’ preseason opener against the Buffalo Bills and answer any of your lingering questions from the game.
Obviously, we had thoughts on how the first-team offense and defense played. But we also dug deep into the roster to see who helped their chances of making the roster, who still has plenty of work to do, and those that could be in trouble after Friday’s game.
Here are just a few of the topics we chatted about regarding the Lions vs. Bills:
- Has the third running back spot opened up after Dedrick Mills and Craig Reynolds impressed?
- Mixed reactions to Julian Okwara’s day.
- The Lions' rookie class is looking good (so far).
- How much is the Lions' offense showing us, and how much is still under wraps?
- Any concern over the Lions firing their head athletic trainer?
We talk about that and much, much more on our EXTRA-SIZED podcast mailbag. Check it out:
