The NFL’s Top 100 countdown for the 2021 season is underway and it didn’t take long for the Detroit Lions to find one of their top players on the list: T.J. Hockenson checks in at No. 93, the first time he has received this national recognition.

The former 8th overall pick also didn’t take long to impress the rest of the league either. His rookie season ended prematurely due to a broken leg, but in his second season, Hockenson grabbed 67 receptions for 723 yards and six touchdowns on his way to his first Pro Bowl appearance.
His inclusion on this list cements the third-year tight end as one of the best in the league at his position and judging from what we’ve seen in camp so far, he may carve himself out a spot on this list for many years to come.
Hockenson is the first Lions’ player to land on the NFL’s top-100 list since Darius Slay accomplished the feat in 2019.
