It’s almost been a full week since the Detroit Lions took the field at Allen Park for training camp. The last time the Lions had practice was last Wednesday, and that was a glorified walkthrough. Since then, the Lions had a competitive bout against the Buffalo Bills on Friday night, then had a couple days break from practice over the weekend.
But it’s the start of a new work week, and there is plenty of work to do. By Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, the Lions’ roster needs to be down to 85 players, which means four more transactions are due by then. And then it’s time to prepare for a road trip to Pittsburgh as Game 2 of the preseason is on Saturday.
It all starts with Monday’s practice, which is scheduled to start around 1:15 p.m. ET at Allen Park. It’s also the final day of practice open to all of the public. Tomorrow is the final practice open to any fans but only season ticket holders. In other words, don’t expect live updates from camp for much longer.
So as practice kicks off on Monday afternoon, stick around here as we give live updates through our Twitter list below. You can also follow along through Twitter by following @PrideOfDetroit and @DetroitOnLion.
