Two teams from the NFC East are looking to get in the win column in the first Thursday Night Football of the 2021 season.

The Washington Football Team enter tonight’s game with a change at quarterback. Ryan Fitzpatrick suffered a hip injury in Week 1 against the Chargers, so Taylor Heinicke will step into the starting role. Last year, Heinicke nearly orchestrated a playoff upset of the eventual champion Buccaneers, so tonight’s performance will be a chance to build upon that success.

The Giants have struggled out of the gate. Saquon Barkley had a mere 26 rushing yards in Week 1, while Daniel Jones’ turnover issues emerged once again. Even first round rookie Kadarius Toney had two catches for negative yardage! The talent is there for New York to compete in a weak division, but the biggest hurdle they have to overcome is themselves.

Here’s how to watch tonight’s game:

Date: Thursday, September 16, 2021
Time: 8:20 p.m. ET
Location: FedExField—Summerfield, MD
TV: NFL Network
Announcers: Joe Buck, Troy Aikman, Erin Andrews & Kristina Pink
Online Stream/Replay: NFL Gamepass
