My Expectations for Week 2

In the preseason the question was asked, what do you expect from the Lions in 2022? I really expect them to be more competitive and to win a reasonably high number of games.

I expect to see them win in Week 2.

Washington is a good team but not a powerhouse. Their best defensive player is injured and so I expect the Lions' offense to roll. I want to see the team pile up points and yards that shows that they have an elite offense.

The Lions' defense should show improvement over last week. The Commanders aren't as good as the Eagles and so we should reduce their scoring and their rushing totals. I think they may be as good or perhaps slightly better as a passing team, but I'm looking for the DL to be much better than last week and be far more disruptive. Overall, I think they should contain Washington to no more than 24 points.

Lions rushing offense +145 yards

Lions passing offense +300 yards

Lions run defense <90 yards

Lions pass defense <250 yards
