The Detroit Lions (8-2) will host their annual Thanksgiving Day game in Week 12 and this year they will be taking on the Green Bay Packers, hoping to sweep the series against their division rival.

Having the opportunity to play on Thanksgiving Day is something that isn't lost on this team. Coach Dan Campbell has played and coached in this game multiple times throughout his career, and he has made a point to stress to his players how special this game is.

“To me, this is a privilege,” Campbell said earlier this week. “This is an honor to be able to coach in a game like this. It was a privilege to be able to play in it. I mean I was fortunate enough to be with Dallas for three years and then here at Detroit. So most of my career I kind of knew that was to be a part of it. [...] I grew up watching it as a kid. I mean you always remember watching those games and then the thought of being able to play on Thursday, Thanksgiving and it’s special. And now, to be able to coach in one of those.[...] it’s special, it’s absolutely special.”

The Lions are once again favored against the Packers and the folks over at DraftKings Sportsbook will have all the updated odds, including player prop bets, for your Thanksgiving Day entertainment.
