The Detroit Lions continue to grab attention in the best way and head into their annual spotlight game with plenty of positive momentum. Though the Green Bay Packers are not good enough to make this an exciting battle of true contenders, the Lions are unlikely to pass up the opportunity to make some noise anyway.
Despite the short week, expect Detroit to channel all of the energy around this team right now and put on a show this Thanksgiving Day. The points will flow like gravy and multiple Lions should get a chance to feast against the hated Packers. All signs point to a fun start to the fantasy football week.
Today’s Question of the Day is:
What Lions-Packers start/sit decisions are you making?
My answer: Obviously it was a game to forget for Jared Goff against the Bears, but I am willing to just throw out the tape. Even though Goff has only one QB1 finish over the past four weeks, it just seems like he is due for a big game. With Amon-Ra St. Brown, Sam Laporta, and Jahmyr Gibbs all involved, I have Goff as a top-10 quarterback this week.
On the other side, I am staying away from all Packers. Jordan Love is probably going to rack up some pass attempts with his team playing from behind, but this is not a quarterback anyone wants to start. Likewise, AJ Dillon is not a trustworthy play, even with the bulk of the carries due to Aaron Jones’ injury. I do not see Dillon hitting the RB2 range or any Green Bay wide receiver being playable.
