The NFL closes out Week 13 with a “Monday Night Football” matchup between Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars. The Bengals (5-6) and Jaguars (8-3) have met 24 times in their franchises’ histories, with Jacksonville holding a 13-11 regular season edge, although Cincinnati has won the last two meetings.
The Jaguars have been on fire as of late, winning seven of their last eight games and very much in the hunt for the No. 1 seed in the AFC. Quarterback Trevor Lawrence is rolling right now, carving up defenses and reaching new ceilings in his development.
The Bengals will be without their franchise quarterback Joe Burrow—who is on injured reserve with a wrist injury that required surgery this week—and will need their defense to slow down Lawrence if they want to have any shot of winning this game.
The good folks over at DraftKings Sportsbook list the Jaguars as touchdown-plus favorites in this game and while the majority of the Pride of Detroit staff are picking Jacksonville on the moneyline, things are split when it comes to the spread.
