Discussion: How do you prefer to watch Lions road games?

How will you choose to watch the Lions’ Week 14 matchup with the Bears?

I don’t know about you, but sometimes I love an away game.

Don’t get me wrong, I love home games at Ford Field, too. Waking up, getting everything situated, and heading to Eastern Market or Midtown before Detroit Lions’ home games is one of my favorite feelings in the world.

But on a cold and potentially rainy day when the Lions are out of town, sometimes it’s nice to know you don’t have to make all of those moves in order to get ready for game day. Order some food, stock the fridge up, find a comfortable spot on the couch, and you can have a really nice day.

Maybe you have a favorite bar you like to go to for road games? Maybe you prefer to go to a friend or family member’s house? Or maybe, you make the trip to the opponent’s city and invade their stadium with a sea of blue, as we’ve seen so many times this season.

Today’s Question of the Day is:

How do you prefer to watch Lions’ road games?

My Answer: Personally, I am always going to be at home watching away games, barring my girlfriend forcing me to go to a bar. And if that is the case, I have a strict rotation of places I like to go to for games.

The Detroiter Bar in Bricktown is a gem. If you go, tell Val that Morgan sent you. Another one I like is The Turnaround, which is located on the east side of the city, near where I live.

What about you? Where do you like to watch away games? Let us know in the comments by scrolling down to the bottom of the page.
