Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Detroit Lions fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

In this week’s SB Nation Reacts survey, we are asking fans two questions:

  1. Are you confident the Lions are headed in the right direction? (weekly poll)
  2. When should the Lions consider pulling their starters?

With regards to the first survey question, this is a question that we will ask weekly and track the results throughout the season. Here are the results we have seen so far:

Now, after the referee debacle in Dallas in Week 17, it’s time to vote in this weekly again. How confident are you in the direction of the Lions organization?

With regards to the second survey question, When should the Lions consider pulling their starters? we have broken down your options into five categories:

  • Rest them all game
  • Rest the players dealing with injuries
  • Pull them if they get a two-touchdown lead
  • Pull them in the second half
  • Play them all game

Now, there are two things to keep in mind before voting.

First, coach Dan Campbell has already said that “the plan right now, is to play our guy,” and while that does leave the door a bit open for change, he tends to follow through on what he says.

Second, the Lions could still be in play for the No. 2 seed in the NFC if they beat the Vikings, but they would also need both the Eagles and Cowboys to lose, making the odds of them moving up in the standings very unlikely.

So, in your opinion, which of the five approaches above should the Lions take in Week 18? Be sure to vote in the survey, sound off in the comments, and the results of the poll will be announced later in the week.
