The Detroit Lions have already put up their 2023 NFC North Championship banner at Ford Field and will hold a ceremony before Week 18’s game vs the Vikings.

The Detroit Lions won the NFC North for the first time in 30 years and the team isn’t waiting around to celebrate their division title. The Lions announced that they will hold a “2023 NFC North Championship Recognition” ceremony ahead of their Week 18 game against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Lions are encouraging fans to join them at Ford Field at 12:40 p.m. ET on Sunday, January 7, for the banner-hanging ceremony.

For those not familiar with the game day schedule at Ford Field, official parking lots and garages open at 9 a.m. ET—surrounding non-affiliated lots open much sooner in the day—and the stadium’s gates will open to fans at 10:30 a.m. ET. So there should be plenty of time to get access to the stadium and in your seat in time for the festivities.

Following the ceremony, Lions players will be introduced and the game is scheduled to kickoff at approximately 1 p.m. ET.
